Welcome to my digital marketing journey.
Game Sight Pro is a demo website I built as part of my self-taught path to becoming a full-stack digital marketer. It represents not only my growth in web development and SEO but also my deep dive into analytics, product research, and real-world strategy. I’m documenting everything here to learn out loud—and hopefully connect with others who are also on their digital marketing path.
What Is Game Sight Pro?
Game Sight Pro is a demo product website focused on blue light gaming glasses—a trending niche that blends gaming with eye care. This site isn’t a real store, but a simulated brand used to apply what I’m learning in real time.
Why I Created Game Sight Pro
I built this website to:
- Apply the skills I’m learning from my digital marketing courses.
- Practice building and optimizing websites using WordPress and the Sydney theme (hosted on Bluehost).
- Test tools like Google Analytics, Mailchimp, and WooCommerce.
- Explore content marketing, SEO, customer targeting, and email campaigns.
- Simulate the complete experience of launching a real product online.
What I’ve Achieved So Far
Here’s what I’ve done so far in building and optimising GameSightPro:
- Website Creation: Installed WordPress, chose the Sydney theme, and built a structured layout using pages, menus, plugins, and forms.
- Market Research: I researched the gaming glasses niche, analysed competitors, and studied customer reviews to understand common complaints and needs.
- Target Persona & Market: I created a detailed user persona and defined my ideal market, helping guide all my content and strategy.
- Content Strategy: Wrote multiple SEO blog posts around gaming glasses and the dangers of blue light exposure.
- SEO Learning: Implemented Yoast SEO, focused on achieving green lights, and learned how to optimise posts using key phrases, meta descriptions, internal links, and outbound links.
- Mailchimp Integration: Connected Mailchimp via the MC4WP plugin to capture leads with pop-ups and embedded forms.
- Email Campaigns: I’ve started creating demo email sequences—some about product content and others about digital marketing progress—to test how campaigns convert and engage users.
- Google Analytics 4: Set up detailed tracking, learned how to troubleshoot data collection, and tested eCommerce purchases and event goals.
- Google Site Kit & Tag Manager: Installed and configured Google Site Kit, and explored GTM while learning how triggers and tags work in practice.
- Technical Setup: Adjusted cache settings, cookie configurations, and plugin settings. Gained valuable insights into how these settings affect site performance and privacy compliance.
- Legal Awareness: Learned about the legal side of digital marketing, including the importance of privacy policies, cookie consent, and plugin configurations.
- Troubleshooting Skills: Faced real-world issues like Analytics not tracking purchases, conflicting plugins, and display issues across devices—and learned how to resolve them.

Help Me Test Game Sight Pro
As part of my digital marketing learning journey, I’m currently practicing Google Analytics tracking and eCommerce behavior on this demo website.
If you’d like to support my learning, you’re welcome to place a test order. Don’t worry the site is in demo mode and no real purchases will be processed.
All payments are simulated using test card numbers only.
This helps me understand how user behaviour flows through the checkout process and how Google Analytics picks it up.
